WHAT IS COSMETIC TATTOOING?

Cosmetic tattooing is a technique used to implant coloured pigment into the skin, whether it is Microblading, Ombré brows, Nano- combination brows or Lip blush tattoo, all of these techniques are used is to enhance the natural features of the face.

DOES COSMETIC TATTOOING HURT?

We recommend purchasing a small 5g tube of Emla numbing cream and placing it over the brows 30 mins before your treatment. The numbing cream makes the process very comfortable, although some people may still experience a little discomfort.

IS THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATION WITH TATTOOING?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding 

If you are planning on falling pregnant 

If you are under the age of 18 

If you are taking any kind of medication  

If you have any known medical conditions

If you are planning to have cosmetic surgery

If you suffer from keloid scarring  

If you have any known allergies  

If you have any internal and /or external factors that you think may affect the tattooing procedure -

If you have any skin conditions, especially around the brow area for example: dermatitis or congestion/breakouts

DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?

Yes, we absolutely do! We have both AfterPay and ZipPay.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO MAINTAIN MY BROWS?

You will still have to keep up with regular waxing to the eyebrows to keep them nice and tidy. All tattooing will need maintenance (6-24months) depending on the technique chosen, aftercare and the client skin type.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Most clients generally need two to three treatments (also depending on the technique chosen/skin type). The first treatment and perfecting visit is included in your total treatment cost. Your second treatment is usually performed 6-12 weeks after the first visit.

At your second visit we evaluate how your skin has received the initial treatment and the level of colour retained. We then make any necessary adjustments to the pigment or technique.

WHAT DO I DO BEFORE MY TREATMENT?

Before all clients come to their treatment, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Avoid medications that thin the blood up to 72 hours before treatment, such as; Warfarin, Accutane, Panadol, Vit E, Ibuprofen, Antihistamines, Asprin, Fish oil, Niacin.

Don’t drink any Alcohol or Caffeine at least 48hours prior to your appointment.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY NATURAL BROW HAIR?

With both brow tattooing techniques your brow remains in place, but I will remove any unwanted hair during the treatment. The upkeep and maintenance of the brow is regular waxing and tinting if this is what you prefer.

LONG-TERM CARE?

It is recommended to apply Sunscreen SPF-50 to help maintain the colour of the pigment and stop fading.

Sun exposure will make the colour soften faster. Pigment fading depends on different skin types, clients lifestyle, and sun exposure.

AM I REQUIRED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

Yes.

To secure your appointment there is a $100 deposit required. This $100 deposit is non-refundable. This will be taken off the total cost of your appointment on the day. If you cancel less then 48hours prior to your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.

No-show to your first initial appointment your deposit will also be forfeited.

No-show to your perfecting session you will forfeit that appointment, and will be required to pay for your touch-up.
